Aktion Børnehjælps Venner blev oprettet som støtteforening til Aktion Børnehjælp i februar 2015.
Foreningen er baseret på samme værdier som Aktion Børnehjælp og har til formål at støtte Aktion Børnehjælps projekter. I Aktion Børnehjælps Venner laver vi arrangementer og oplysningsarbejde, hvor overskuddet går til Aktion Børnehjælp.
Foreningen Aktion Børnehjælps Venner er en medlemsforening, og ikke en fond som Aktion Børnehjælp. Det åbner op for andre muligheder for at søge økonomisk støtte til at hjælpe indiske børns uddannelse og sundhed. Vi kan søge puljemidler i Kulturstyrelsen, oprette medlemskabsrabatter og meget andet, der juridisk ikke er muligt for en fond.
Som medlem i Foreningen Aktion Børnehjælps Venner får du direkte indflydelse på foreningens aktiviteter og bestyrelse, og som frivillig i foreningen kan du få erfaring i foreningsarbejde, eventplanlægning o.a.
Et medlemskab koster 100 kroner om året og med medlemsbeviset gives der rabatter på indiske restauranter, events m.m. Samtidig støtter du et godt formål!

Friends of Action Child Aid Denmark is not a foundation but an association that seeks funds to support rights and education of children in India. For instance, we can apply for funding at the Danish Culture Agency, set up membership discounts and others that are not legally possible for a fund. We do events and different activities to draw attention to Friends of Action Child Aid Denmark and Action Child Aid.
People who are interested in supporting child rights and education are encouraged to become members and/or volunteer at Friends of Action Child and donate 100 DKK per year. When you are a registered member, you receive a membership certificate and can redeem discounts at certain Indian restaurants, events etc.
As a member you can also contribute to the group by participating in different activities. Moreover, you can also develop new skills and gain competences for your CV. You may have ideas of your own that you would like to bring to the group. All while you are contributing to our most important cause, helping children in India.
